Carissa Karr co-anchors “It All Adds Up” and helps make this show a success by reaching out to students who want to learn more about different careers. She joined the crew almost two years ago and has never looked back.Carissa is an Iowa native, growing up in Cedar Rapids and going to the University of Iowa to obtain a degree in Journalism and Marketing.
Throughout her short career, Carissa has spent time as a sports reporter for MC22, a promotions and on-air talent at KGAN Cedar Rapids, and an intern at KCRG Cedar Rapids.
In her time off Carissa enjoys spending time with her family, working out, surrounding herself with friends, shopping, and reading a good book.
Carissa is excited to call Iowa home. Go Hawks!
