Pete Ivanic

Pete Ivanic is no stranger to the local media sports scene. After a successful football career at Alleman High School and St. Ambrose University (Honorable Mention All American, '96), Ivanic spent five years covering local sports for the Quad City Times as a correspondent, while mixing in some radio play by play, including being the voice of Moline High School football on WLLR AM 1230 for two seasons ('99-'00) before taking the reins of the long running MAC Game of the Week on WOC AM 1420 from 2001 to 2005. Ivanic has covered several High School State Tournaments for volleyball, basketball and football in both Iowa and Illinois. In 2005 Ivanic started a partnership as the play by play voice of the Mediacom Connections Game of the Week on MC22, Mediacom cable channel 22. Ivanic has also served as sideline reporter for the Quad City Steamwheelers for the team's ten year existence and is the director the Genesis PSP Shootout Invitational.  After working 10 years at Clear Channel Quad Cities, Ivanic currently is employed by New Jersey based fashion company Viva International Group, a leading worldwide manufacturer of brand named eyewear, as an optical representative. Pete and Tiffany live in Davenport with their 3 children,  Gabriel (17), Abigail (11) and Eliana (9).
