DES MOINES, IA – MAY 31, 2022 – The Iowa High School Boys State Soccer Championships will be televised live across Iowa on Mediacom on Saturday, June 4. The Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) sport continues to increase its participants and teams; and this will be the first year for state championship matches to receive live television coverage.
The ISHAA 2022 State Soccer Championships will be held at the Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines on Saturday, June 4. Fans will see top high school teams compete in three classes of action, starting with the Class 1A championship at 1:00 pm. The Class 2A match is scheduled for 3:30 pm, followed by the 3A championship match at 6:00 pm.
As a partner with the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN), Mediacom will televise the three championship soccer matches live on its statewide channel, MC22, while the action also streams live at www.ihssn.com. Replays will be televised on MC22 starting at 4:00 pm on June 5 and continuing throughout the week. Program schedules are posted at MC22.net.
