Mediacom Communications will provide live television coverage of the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s (IHSAA) State Baseball Tournament beginning July 17th. This year, the company’s cable lineup includes a second local sports channel added to provide complete game coverage while simultaneous action is underway on tournament fields in Carroll and Iowa City.

Mediacom’s two channels, MC22 and MC22+, will carry live coverage for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship games in all four classes of the IHSAA State Baseball Tournament. Fans can choose to watch their favorite teams from sports bars or their homes without missing any live action during overlapping game schedules.

Live coverage of the IHSAA State Baseball Tournament will be available from July 17th-21st on Mediacom’s MC22 and MC22+ channels. Mediacom subscribers will see the Class 1A and Class 2A games from Merchants Park in Carroll, IA on the overflow channel, MC22+ (CH. 175, 664, or 764).  Class 3A and Class 4A games will be played at Duane Banks Field at the University of Iowa and will be televised on MC22 (CH. 22, 722, or 822). Encore presentations of each game will be available following the tournament. Viewers can find MC22 TV schedules at

All tournament games will be available on live stream through or the Watch IHSSN app. The IHSSN partnership with Mediacom provides MC22 with live coverage and replay rights for the championship games.
